During over 20 years, the term digital transformation was used in different words. There is always a need to leverage technologies to create or to keep a competitive advantage. The motivation is a business need, not technology. Any change that starts from a business need requires a change in the management system and organization structure to enable the change from a people’s point of view. Without adjusting the management system and organization structure to the business change and using it together with technology, any major technology uplift is doomed to be a failure.
