In 2019, We are hardly using any 100 years theory as the world is changing all the time. What was perfect for economic efficiency is destructive for a business environment that demands disruption and responsiveness. It’s about time to change our management system and adopt more modern management theories; it’s about time to turn doers to thinkers again. It’s about time to base our management theory of scientific principles proven to support unexpected environments, such as complex adaptive systems.
The current management has roots in deterministic and linear sciences, that were the dominante ones 100 years ago. It’s about time to adopt ideas from non-deterministic and non-linear sciences.
